The BMB SA Gesellschaft für Monitoring und Begleitsysteme is a Brussels based shareholder company bringing together shareholders and professionals with broad experiences and knowledge in policies, legislation and financial instruments of the European Union, its implementation in the member states of the EU as well as in European and international cooperation.
Aim
The BMB SA Gesellschaft für Monitoring und Begleitsysteme offers services such as information, consultancy, and support to actors in the field of health and healthcare. Our aim is to ensure early and coherent communication and understanding of EU policies and legislation, to facilitate better access to EU financial instruments and funds and strengthen the cross-border cooperation.
We provide support, guidance, and monitoring in areas relevant for business and actors in the health and health care sector, including health, internal market and competition, investment and economic policies, innovation and digitalisation, research as well as employment and social policies.
Focus group
Our services focus on the needs of business companies, small and medium enterprises (SME) as well as public-private partnerships in the health sector. Among others we address undertakings providing health care services, private and public hospitals, out-patient medical centers, residential care homes, medical engineering business, pharmacies, stakeholders from research, development and digitalisation, professional orientation, and education providers in health care.

Information
We offer regularly reporting and background information on EU policies and legislation and its relevance for national politics, on debates, visions, and strategies for future challenges in European societies and on main decision-making actors in EU institutions, member states and civil society as well as on financial and investment policies.
We provide up-to-date information about EU-financial instruments and funds for SME and European-wide tenders relevant to the health sector, particularly on EU funding opportunities for research and innovation, regional and health care structural developments and international cooperation and infos about health care relevant European projects and project outcomes.
Monitoring and knowledge management
We monitor developments and debates related to future challenges of the EU, which are of interest for health and health care actors, such as demographic change and its impact on European societies, the future of health care systems, digitalisation, skills development, European developments in the fields of social, health, employment and competition policies. The monitoring allows insights into actual debates, objectives and activities of decision makers, civil society actors, forward looking research and strengthens understanding and opportunities for an active involvement.
Our consultancy in the field of advocacy and lobbying focus on experts and decision-making bodies and persons at the European level and provides platforms for exchange and discussion on European topics.
The support in European networking and transnational cooperation helps building up expertise for stronger European activities, as part of EU projects or a joint European advocacy and lobbying. It promotes an exchange between health care actors from different member states of the EU and facilitates transnational learning from each other on specific issues.
We offer expertise and qualification modules in specific fields of interest to our clients. It allows thematic and target orientated and detailed insights in relevant EU policies, legislation, visions, and funding opportunities.
Our monitoring activities in the field of European Structural and Investment funds support a better understanding of a health care orientated use and programming of finances, particularly in terms of innovation and investment priorities.
Consultancy and project management
Our consultancy service on EU funds combines research and assessment of funding opportunities for specific project ideas and concepts (project identification). It includes individual advice, workshops on EU programmes and funds, systematics, and functioning.
Within our support service in project development and application procedures we facilitate the designation of an eligible project. Based on pre-selected tenders and funds we guide through the drafting of the content and finance related parts of a tender.
Within our project management service, we support our partners to implement EU funded and international projects in an appropriate way.
Together with other organisation we ensure an IT based management and monitoring of projects funded by the European Social fund. It secures the compliance with financial, technical, and administrative regulations.
